Eccieleaks.com is a secretly owned website hosted on "off-shore" servers. It's content consists of either pirated or fabricated forums focused on the escort industry. It's main purpose is to drive traffic away from Eccie.com through a campaign of blackmail, slander, stalking, impersonation, spamming, phishing, and theft.
A "leaker" is person who supports the site by providing information about the victims that the site target. This might consist of personal information about a victim - name, phone number SSN, etc - or pictures of the victim - Facebook photos, work photos, "paparazzi" shots, etc.
The owners/operators of Eccieleaks have gone to great lengths to hide their identity, so it has been difficult to determine who they are. Over the two years that it has been in operation, I have heard a long list of theories concerning the ownership. I am including the list, regardless of how ludicrous some of the theories may be:

Competitors trying to shut down Eccie (ERAPS, TheEroticReview, Horndogs, etc.)
Former partners who were cut out
The mysterious Don who owned TVI
A Law Enforcement Agency
Eccie.net itself to generate sympathy and more traffic
Eccie users with a grudge - Surge, Lazarus Long, PPE, Stevesanderson, Chica Chaser, etc.
The consensus in the hobby community is that a small group of former Horndogs owners or users conspired to "take down" Eccie.net, partly to eliminate competition and partly out of spite. What follows is information about those accused of orchestrating the campaign of cyber-terror centered on Eccieleaks:

ReplyDeleteTake a look at topic 1992, msg 11139 on Eccieleaks for an example. I don't like to use links; if you don't know how to get to that spot, I can send a screenshot of the post. Notice that the clearly marked SSN is followed by comments from fake handles that are used by the boards owners. It's not possible for them to pretend they didn't see it; also, all comments are moderated by the board owners, so they are responsible for everything that gets posted there anyway.
DeleteSince their search feature hardly ever works, I am not going to spend any more time looking up examples for you. Rest assured that there is nothing that those sociopaths won't post if it hurts someone, especially a child.
So these guys are responsible for those fucking computer-generated sales calls that I get? I can't believe that they are getting away with this.
